Re: Western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) Fee Increase

Dear Applicant:

On March 31, 2008, the Board of Directors of the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority approved a 4.17% CPI adjustment to the MSHCP mitigation fee for Fiscal Year 2008-09. The increase is effective Tuesday, July 1, 2008. The rates that will change are shown below.

Residential density equal to and greater than 8.0 and less than or equal to 14.0 dwelling units per acre $1,191 per dwelling unit $1,241 per dwelling unit
Residential density greater than 14.0 dwelling units per acre $968 per dwelling unit $1,008 per dwelling unit
Commercial $6,333 per acre $6,597 per acre
Industrial $6,333 per acre $6,597 per acre


All building permit applicants may pay their Western Riverside County MSHCP mitigation fees at any time after having an approved land development permit from the Riverside County Planning Dept. (ex: conditional use permit, public use permit, plot plan) AND have also paid for building permit plan review or permit fees. Payment of MSHCP mitigation fees received prior to July 1, 2008 will be at the current rate. Payments received on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 or thereafter will be at the new rate.
