     AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 348 - EA 37540 - County of Riverside Initiative - All Supervisorial Districts - PROPOSAL: To modify development standards in Ordinance No. 348 for Wind Energy Conversions Systems (WECS, also known as wind turbines) and modify commercial WECS noise technical specifications and criteria resolution. Ordinance amendment is county wide in nature, but the primary scope of potential impact is in the San Gorgonio Pass area, extending northerly from the Cities of Palm Springs/ Cathedral City on the south to the Riverside/San Bernardino County Line on the north; and, extending easterly of the Cabazon community on the west to the Thousand Palms community on the east, with the City of Desert Hot springs on the northeasterly edge.
