The Riverside County Center for Demographic Research (RCCDR) was established under the joint efforts of the County of Riverside, the Western Riverside Council of Governments, the Coachella Valley Association of Governments, and the University of California, Riverside in 2005 for the development of demographic data and related support products to serve all of Riverside County.

The Center for Demographic Research is located in the County of Riverside Transportation and Land Management Agency. Its purpose is to ensure that Riverside County will establish and maintain a presence in the development and support of demographic information and ensure data consistency through a centralized data source of demographic characteristics. As products are produced by the RCCDR, they will be made available through this Riverside County Demographics website.
